Battlestar Galactica - TIME Magazine's number 1 show of 2005

Well, well… what have we here?  LOST — Well, I just caught that last night and it was pretty rockin'.  I don't care how bizarre it's getting, as long as the characters keep developing (and stay true to their character) and the story stays interesting I'll keep watching.

South Park — Season 10 Premiered last night and I missed it.  Going to catch it later this week but I have high hopes.  Those guys consistantly attack sensitive issues in utterly insensitive ways, cut through all the shrubbery and say what's on their mind - which usually makes an entirely reasonable and well-thought-out point that half the country seems to be blind to.

The Office — This doesn't really count because they started their season a little early, but worth a mention as the best comedy series on television, at least in this writer's less-than-humble opinion.

Smallville — I'm a bit confused, I thought ZOD last week was the premiere but I keep seeing commercials for the premiere.  Okay, let's see what happens.  I'm glad the producers got away from the "freak of the week" serial format, but the stuff they're airing now seems a little out there and it's dragging - Not a good combination.  We shall see tonight.

Battlestar GalacticaWhich brings me to the television show TIME magazine called the best show of 2005.  That's right, Battlestar Galactica, for all of you folks who aren't already waiting with dread anticipation.  The first season left off with a devastating blow that took a four-episode story-arc to swing back from. The second season finished up by knocking us flat on our backsides, and from what I'm reading it is only going to keep getting better (for us. Worse for the characters).

Here is what TIME had to say about BSG

Also, it's worth reading the brief, but solid interviews on Sci-Fi.com given by some of regular cast.

Hope you enjoy!
